Batteries

SSMF batteries

These SSMF batteries found a niche in the Standby / UPS market as a replacement for the expensive conventional standby 2-volt cells that had been used, and this market became the core of the Deltec business.

The business continued to grow as demand for the SSMF battery in the automotive market increased, with this battery type becoming favoured as original equipment on new vehicles. Demand for the deep cycle model in the leisure and special applications fields has also increased.

Principal brands include US Battery, OPTIMA and the Deltec (Delphi) brand

Well known for quality & reliability.
